| Here are few of the collection of photographs I have taken of coastal shipping at the jetties serving the quarries at Llanddulas. Sadly, nowadays only Raynes Jetty is in use and attracts much less shipping movements to what it did 20 years or so ago. Destination for the stone traffic varies - most of it nowadays goes to ports such as Shoreham, Newhaven, London, Ipswich, Kings Lynn and also consignments go to Delfzijl.
Nowadays most of the vessels include a variety including the fleet from Arklow Shipping. |
