| Photos of Rhyl No2 signalbox. The box controlled the Holyhead end of the layout at Rhyl. A very busy box at one time which included a busy goods yard and ab engine shed (closed 1963). Also holiday excursions terminated here and coaching stock stabled in the through sidings. Two bays were located on the down side for the Vale of Clwyd trains and a bay platform on the up side for other trains such as the "Welsh Dragon" shuttle to and from Llandudno. |
