Tyn-y-Morfa crossing is located on the main Chester to Holyhead line between Prestatyn and Talacre. At one time a signalbox existed here during the time towards the 1900's when the main line was widened , i.e. slow lines put in. Following the completion of the work the box became redundant and was moved to Talacre by "train" to work the new layout there. Nowadays the crossing is used mainly by horses from the nearby riding schools and a small residential area on the beach side of the crossing.
