A selection of railway photographs taken in the Wrexham area, including the now closed Croes Newydd Yard. The yard here was busy up till the end of shunting in 1984 when the line to Brymbo closed. It wasn't unusual to see wagons loose shunted at the top end of the yard as all lines from approx. centre of the yard climbed up pass Croes Newydd West signalbox.
